So after the mayor of Eutin had forced the cancellation of the German Blues Challenge and the presentation of the German Blues Awards in Eutin in violation of the contract, there could be no live challenge in front of jurors. Thus, in the short time available, there was really only one solution: the result of the Public Voting is also the final result of the Challenge. Through this voting, the winners of the awards were already determined. So all that was left was to find a place where a “small replacement event” could be held at a low cost. Eutin was not possible, because the cancellation of the event had already caused a minus of several thousand euros for the association.
