The Eutin Open Air, which has now won three international awards, is one of the largest and most important festivals in the European blues scene.
Every year, up to 15,000 visitors are enthralled and fascinated by the top-class programs and the musicians from all over the world.
The location is the historic Eutin marketplace, which provides a very special atmosphere with its special ambience. In addition, there is the brewery opposite the stage, where great club concerts and sessions are held on several days after the program ends on the market square.
Occasional exhibitions of internationally known photographers and painters, as well as smaller events at other venues, round out the program.
However, the fact that the event does not charge admission fees is unique. At the same time, the deliberate focus on renowned artists from the countries around the Baltic Sea is a novelty in Europe.
